Biography If Hak takes anything more serious than his own continued existence it's keeping Yona save. He has been working as her bodyguard all her life, but unbeknownst to her is a Vampire Noble from the venerable Wind Clan. For as long as he has been growing up alongside her and protecting her from both emotional and physical harm within the human world Hak has also been in love with her. Instead of openly admitting to that, he has hidden his true feelings towards his princess alongside his true identity as a vampire. As a result of this, he is very torn over what to do now that she knows about her own heritage and his. This is made more complicated by the fact that he also wants to honour the promise he gave to her father as he succumbed to his injuries that he would always protect her, as well as their difference in status. Hak at first appears to be a very serious young man, whose only purpose in life is protecting Yona. It takes a while for him to open up to other people and trust them. His trust certainly has to be earned. But once someone earned it, Hak is very loyal and will do whatever he has to protect and help the other person. In private Hak is prone to give people affectionate nicknames and also enjoys teasing the people he likes relentlessly as Yona would certainly be able to attest to. IN-GAME HISTORY: When Hak was six his grandfather tasked him with protecting the princess of the Hiryuu family and sent him to live with Yona and her father in the human world. He has protected her as well as her family's secret all his life, until that fateful night when they had to flee her family estate as the sole survivors of a hunter attack. Owing to Hak's abilities, he was able to hide Yona and disappear with her without their assailants being any the wiser about their whereabouts. But of course, neither of them know how long it will take those hunters to track them down, even at the Academy where they went for asylum.
